CAP KU: University of Kansas Climate Action Plan
In the spring of 2009, a team of 12 graduate students completed a greenhouse gas inventory for the KU Lawrence campus, gathering data on our emissions from electricity and natural gas use, transportation, and other sources. Based on this inventory, they provided recommendations for reducing our campus GHG emissions. Their report "CAP KU: The University of Kansas Climate Action Plan" was presented to the campus community on May 7, 2009, establishing a basic framework for addressing KU's climate impacts.
