- Lawrence Mountain Biking and Hiking Trails. This site has maps for the Clinton Lake, Perry Lake, and Kansas River trails. Also has information about volunteering to help with trail maintenance.

- The Kansas Biking Guide has more information on state trails and roadway etiquette.
- Lawrence's Parks web site includes a state"rec-finder" which is a searchable database of over 450 trails, 3,500 parks and 12,500 recreation amenities for places to participate in your favorite outdoor activities. You can search for parks and facilities by name, location, park type or facilities. It also includes maps.
- Get to know our local ecology through the Prairie Park Nature Center, the Haskell Baker Wetlands, the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve, or Konza Prairie.
