Help us Build a More Sustainable KU

Over the past year, the Center for Sustainability has worked with over 150 students, faculty and staff to develop a comprehensive Campus Sustainability Plan. The plan covers nine chapters: Administration, Development and Planning; Curriculum and Research; Student Life; Energy; Built Environment; Campus Grounds; Procurement; Transportation; and Waste. Each chapter includes a background section and a vision, goals, objectives, and strategies to help KU move toward a sustainable future in that specific area.

The final draft of the plan was presented to Chancellor Gray-Little on July 15. The complete plan will be posted online upon final review.
