The Kansas Department of Health & Environment has provided financial assistance to this project through EPA Section 319 Nonpoint Source Pollution Control Grant # C90074514 and the Kansas Water Plan Funds. Additional financial support was provided by KU Recreation Services, KU Student Senate, and Coca-Cola©. Collaboration between Emerging Green Builders, Design and Construction Management, and the Center for Sustainability has provided a motivated vision for this innovative student-led project.
