Potter's Lake

A dedicated group of students initiated a project to restore Potter Lake, a well-loved landmark and historical icon on campus to its natural state.

Climate Action Plan

With the combined efforts of students and CFS staff, CAP offers a comprehensive inventory of the factors that contribute to KU's greenhouse gas emissions & provides recommendations. It serves as a strong starting point for reducing KU's impact.

KU Student Rain Garden

Students from multiple disciplines worked together to develop the rain garden in 2009. Today, it is 5,200 square feet and is home to 2,500 native plants from up to 18 different species.

Campus Garden

Located behind the Wesley Building (University Relations), the Campus Garden provides opportunities for students to learn about the relationships between food, the environment and the local community.

KU Student Farm

The KU Student Farm provides plots on high quality soils for students, faculty, and staff to grow their own food.
